365. Three hundred and sixty five days. One year. That is how long, to the day, that we have been away from home!
It's hard to believe that it has been an entire year since we were saying goodbye to friends and family at the Vancouver airport, and hard to believe that in the past year we have had more moves, plane rides, and different country experiences than I've ever had before!
When I have access to better internet I'd like to do a 'looking back' type post, complete with pictures and stories from the last year of my crazy traveling life, but I wanted to quickly post today...

- This is the story of mine and my family's journey across the world to live and work in rural Africa. In September 2009 we left Canada, and after a few months of traveling (England, Greece, Egypt, Uganda!), we arrived in South Africa, where we lived for nearly a year before moving back down to Uganda for a brief transition period. After several months spent in Uganda, we finally left for Zimbabwe, to pioneer our own ministry focusing on child headed househoulds and AIDs orphans. Since then I (Erin) and my sister have moved back to Canada to go to school, but the rest of the family is still in Zimbabwe, working hard... we're all excited to see what God has in store for the ministry next!
