Well, they left at 1am this morning, and called me around 9am to say that they had safely arrived in Zimbabwe. Getting their visas and going across the border all went smoothly and without a hitch, and now they're just excited to be on their way!
Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels and a great trip.

PS My mom wanted me to say a special hello to Corrie in Cranbrook.... thanks for reading this blog, she loves you lots! :)
This is the story of mine and my family's journey across the world to live and work in rural Africa. In September 2009 we left Canada, and after a few months of traveling (England, Greece, Egypt, Uganda!), we arrived in South Africa, where we lived for nearly a year before moving back down to Uganda for a brief transition period. After several months spent in Uganda, we finally left for Zimbabwe, to pioneer our own ministry focusing on child headed househoulds and AIDs orphans. Since then I (Erin) and my sister have moved back to Canada to go to school, but the rest of the family is still in Zimbabwe, working hard... we're all excited to see what God has in store for the ministry next!
